Consulting Retainer & Partnership
Your AI guy, on call. A monthly partnership where I keep improving your setup as your business grows and the tools evolve — so falling behind stops being something you worry about.
Why ongoing beats one-and-done
AI tools change monthly. A recommendation that was the best answer in January might have a better, cheaper alternative by June — and your business changes too: new staff, new services, new bottlenecks. A one-time fix slowly drifts out of date.
The retainer flips that: instead of catching up in occasional bursts, your business quietly improves a little every month — and you have one trusted person to ask before buying, trying, or worrying about anything AI-related.
What's included each month
- Two working sessions — 45 minutes each, on whatever moves the needle most: building a new Claude skill, tuning an agent, fixing a workflow, or training a new employee on your tools.
- Message access in between — stuck on something? Send me a message and get an answer within one business day, not a support ticket queue.
- Tool watch — when something genuinely better or cheaper comes out for a problem you have, you hear about it from me first. When the hype doesn't apply to you, you hear that too.
- Quarterly check of the numbers — we revisit the ROI math from your original report: hours actually saved, what it's worth, what's next.
Who this is for — and a deliberate limit
The retainer fits owners who saw results from the assessment and want the momentum to continue without becoming the in-house tech person themselves. It works because I know your business deeply — which is exactly why I cap the number of retainer clients I take. A partner with 50 clients is a vendor. I'd rather be the AI guy for a handful of Twin Cities businesses that get my full attention.
Getting started: retainer spots open to assessment clients first. The assessment tells us both whether there's enough opportunity in your business to justify an ongoing partnership — sometimes there isn't, and I'll tell you so.
